Terms & Warranty

Warranty coverage

All repairs are covered by a return-to-base warranty from the date of dispatch back to you:

Standard
3 months
Hall Effect
6 months
TMR
12 months

Warranty covers defects in our workmanship and parts. If the repaired stick drifts again within the warranty period due to our repair, we'll fix it again at no charge. You cover postage back to us; we cover postage back to you.

Warranty does not cover: physical damage, liquid damage, damage caused by further repair attempts by a third party, or normal wear on Standard (potentiometer) repairs beyond the warranty period.

Turnaround time

We aim to complete repairs within 3–5 working days from receipt of your controller. This is a target, not a guarantee. During busy periods it may take slightly longer — your portal always shows the current status in real time.

If we anticipate a significant delay we'll contact you directly.

Pricing and payment

All prices are as shown at the time of booking. Payment is taken in full via Stripe at checkout. All prices include return tracked postage and calibration. No hidden fees.

  • Standard repair — £35
  • Hall Effect upgrade — £50
  • TMR upgrade — £60

The same price applies whether we repair one stick or both.

Cancellations and refunds

You may cancel your booking at any time before posting your controller for a full refund. Email [email protected] with your job reference.

Once your controller is in our possession and work has begun, we cannot offer a full refund. If you wish to cancel mid-repair, we will return your controller and issue a partial refund at our discretion, minus any parts costs incurred.

If we are unable to complete your repair, we will return your controller and issue a full refund.

Transit and packaging

We strongly recommend Royal Mail Tracked 48 (approx. £3–4 from any Post Office). This provides tracking and basic compensation cover in case of loss.

We cannot be held responsible for controllers lost or damaged in transit to us. Please package your controller securely. See our packaging guide for full instructions.

Privacy and data

We collect only the information necessary to process your repair: name, email address, and return postal address. This data is stored securely and never sold or shared with third parties except as strictly required to complete your repair.

Payments are processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store card details.

You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing us.

Limitation of liability

Our liability is limited to the cost of the repair service purchased. We are not liable for consequential loss, including loss of use, saved data, or damage arising from transit.

These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.
